New albums from Ben Folds and Kings of Leon

On the 30th of September, Ben Folds is set to release his newest studio effort, ‘Way To Normal’.

I’m not sure if it is an official single yet or not, but getting some air play is a number called “You Don’t Know Me”, featuring the vocal talents of the lovely miss Regina Spektor.

I am incredibly excited about ‘Only by the Night’. I do wonder if it can top ‘Because of the Times’. It seems that each record they bring out is consistently better than the one preceding it. Will they continue to transcend their peak of awesomeness? Not a fan of Ben Folds, conversely anything that Regina Spektor contributes to is instantly wonderful. Cute song.

I can’t wait for “Way To Normal”- it’s been way too long since “Songs for Silverman”. I love pretty much every Ben Folds songs. I loved him with Ben Folds Five, but his solo work is just so different. I’m glad, though, that the classic Ben Folds sound has come back with the work he did on his last album.

I hope the album does well and that Ben will come out with an album more than once every three years!
