Blueprint Festival

July 20, 2009

Finally a festival to fill the gap between Golden Plains and Meredith! Also in the same vein as Meredith, Blueprint seems insistent that it will be something of a different festival experience from so many others doing the same thing. It is taking place in Ararat Victoria between the 18th and 21st of September with an all Australian line-up, nice affordable beers and food coupled with a pretty good ticket price. For an inaugural festival the line-up seems pretty good and they’ve already sold out of early bird tickets. I hope it’s successful because Australia needs another festival less focused on getting the same bands and crowds, and if Blueprint make a lot of money this year then maybe next year they can afford an even better line-up. Oh yeah and Victoria needs even more cool shit like this.
